Hello all and welcome to the RP Chat, "Avengers Academy"!
This roleplay chat is a place where young people with superhuman abilities can come to train and socialize with students similar to themselves at a private facility away from the dangers of the public world.
"After the avengers initiative proved to be successful, shareholders of the national organization decided to invest in another idea pitched by the previous director of SHIELD, colonel Nicholas Fury. He believed in recruiting and training powerful, young superhumans so that they would have a chance to do good at an early age and prevent the potential growth of the super villain community whilst as rehabilitating former supervillains.
After the main avengers had relocated to a different Headquarters, Tony Stark gifted S.H.I.E.L.D the use their former mansion as a campus for the school institution. Furthermore, as a way to establish a bridge between nations, the king of Wakanda and his advisors added to the institution by creating a section of the school where Wakandan and international students could come to learn and grow under the shared goal of grooming future generations.
The Academy has since been tailored to accept and embrace new and different heroes from various walks of life who have come looking for guidance and a community. In the terms of the students, it's also a way for the superhuman youth to try to get used the 'Superhero Life'."

TEACHER INFORMATION & REQUIREMENTS
For your character(s) to become a teacher, you must become a student first to prove that you are regularly active and can write a minimum five-plus sentences no matter the responses within a tome frame of five weeks. Teachers help a lot around the Academy- because of course- it's an ACADEMY. There are only some exceptions to this if the host or co-hosts know that said teacher applicant has previous experience and can fullfil these requirements.

Advanced Magic: Theory and Practice: This private class is for those who have proven to excel past the Magic: Theory and Practice class held by Stephen Strange. This focuses on the deeper roots of magic and more complex concepts associated with it. A student will only be accepted into this class once they have been recommended by another teacher in the mystical arts department and have passed the entrance test.
Warning : This class involves the use of advanced magic and expert spells that are of great risk to unprepared students
holy and unholy 101: This a subject that focuses on the study and handling of all/most paranormal activity that we know of.
Warning : Specific tests, experiments, and projects will be happening in this class that can involve in serious injuries if it isn't properly conducted. Students who deem themselves unworthy of such a class will be transferred to a new one; having to take this course at a different semester or the next year entirely.
Ballistics Specialisation: This class focuses on the use and preparation of modern ranged fire arms and as such it is a requirement that all students participating have a regular experience with a firearm, wear protective gear to class and return any firearm that may have been used during class.
Combat 101: This class focuses on the physical techniques and concepts of combat and as such it is asked of you to participate to better understand the principles of a fight. This class is mandatory and no one will be excused from it without a proper reason.
Communication studies: This class focuses on the process of communicating information between two parties, understanding how to effectively examine body language, speech and behavioural patterns to properly read and speak to others.
Engineering : For the more tech savvy students, engineering classes are meant to help one understand and construct machines/engines of our modern world whilst also allowing students to develop their own skills by having them create machines of their original design.
English: This class is focused on the study of the English language to facilitate in understanding and speaking the language for the benefit of communication.
Holy History: This class focuses on the detailed study of the history of celestial events within our universe.
Magic: Theory and Practice: This class is an introduction to the mystical arts and aims to help students understand the fundamentals of the magic world while teaching them spells of basic comprehension.
Warning : This class requires the use of magical ability which has been shown to be unpredictable at a beginner level, as such students are warned to only limit their use of magic to simpler grade 1 spells outside of class. Use of any other spells will lead to punishment by choosing of the principal or vice principal. Joining this class also gives you a limited pass unlike the Advanced course, one cannot borrow or view specific magical material and failure to follow this will be met with punishment but the class teacher.
Mathematics: This class studies numbers, measurements and shapes as well as formulae and techniques associated under the subject.
Note : There is a private, advanced course one can take if they have proven their aptitude in the subject to be above the averages of their classmates. If one wishes to take this class then they must speak to the head of department for Mathematics, similarly one can be transferred to this class given the circumstances that their teacher deems them fit to attend the class.
Mechanical Robotics : This class focuses on the study of the design, construction and use of advanced machinery programmed to carry out a series of actions automatically.
Note : Students are asked to note that the use of the robotics lab after hours without authorization is prohibited and the creation of sentient artificial intelligence is also prohibited by the laws of the academy. Failure to follow these rules will result in punishment given to the student by the teacher of Mechanical Robotics Class.
Multilingual Studies: This is a class that focuses on the study and use multiple languages across the world. Students are asked to note that this class is not optional and failure to attend the class regularly will result in a punishment of cleaning the bathrooms during the weekend.
Psychology 101: This class focuses on the study of the human mind and how it influences human behavior.
Scientific Studies: This class studies the main academic branches of science (chemistry, biology and physics), their uses and applications in the world around us.
Note : Everyone is expected to attend these classes, only advanced classes are optional, other classes are not.
